According to the calendar, the classes will commence for the first semester on November 22, while the exams will be held from March 21 to April 4 next year
As many as 68,849 students have secured admissions to the university since the first cut-off list was released. For details on admission, students can refer to the website- du.ac.in
In a letter written to Delhi University Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh, the government asked him to take action against the principals of 12 Delhi government-funded colleges. The department accused them of "inciting teachers" and "creating a hostile education environment" over funding issues

DU registrar Vikas Gupta said they will take up the issue of non-release of funds with the AAP government. The issue was also raised at the Executive Council meeting of the university held on October 29
Since the first cut-off list was declared on October 1, a total of 63,504 students have secured admission by paying their fees.
The members expressed their dissent over PhD being given weightage for selection of assistant professors since many ad hoc and contractual teachers without PhDs would be disadvantaged.

The memorandum also highlighted issues of repeated stoppage of grants by the Delhi government and the crisis faced by employees due to non-receipt of salaries
The cut-offs to popular courses, however, remained on the higher side. Thursday will be the last day for students to apply under the third cut-off list, while colleges will have time till Friday to approve applications. Saturday will be the last day for students to make payments

Delhi University has formed a committee for ECA admission grievance redressal. The grievance registration window will remain open till October 21.
