West Indies Shanon Gabriel gets dismissed during first Test

Following West Indies' massive innings and 272 runs defeat to No.1-ranked Indian Test team, former opener Daren Ganga mercilessly pointed out the inexperience factor in the dugout of Caribbean.

"When I played my first Test in South Africa in 1998 I played with Ambrose, Walsh, Lara and Hooper, and there was still a lot of pride. Now the young players in this team do not have anyone like that in a position of having been there and done that," Ganga sais as quoted by Indian Express.

“It’s very hard to mature in an environment where you're not winning. That's the kind of depreciation that took place from the 1990s to now. Who does a Shai Hope look to for guidance? Who does Shannon Gabriel turn to when his back is against the wall when his fellow pacers have played 2 Tests between them? It's like the blind leading the blind in a case of trial and error," he added.

West Indies are currently facing tough time and the way they played against the Indian team in the opening match of two-match Test series is highly disappointing.

There will be very less hope from the Windies side when they came out to play the second Test match of the series against Indian team in Hyderabad on October 12.
