An FIR has been lodged against Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) professor for allegedly sexually abusing women students in class.
As per reports, Atul Johri, who teaches life science at the university, used to make sexually-coloured remarks. "The professor often makes sexually-coloured remarks, open demands for sex and comments on the figure of almost every girl. If a girl objects, he holds a grudge against her." the women students in a statement had said.
A group of nine students have been protesting against the professor for the past days in the campus. On the basis of the complaint from seven out of the nine protesting students, an FIR was registered at Vasant Kunj North Police Station.
Meanwhile, the professor has claimed that he is being targeted.
