Bollywood’s popular comic actor Rajpal Yadav, who was also seen in Varun Dhawan’s Judwaa 2, has been sentenced to three months of imprisonment for failing to repay a loan of Rs 5 crore taken by his company to produce a film. Justice Rajiv Sahai Endlaw ordered that Yadav should be taken into custody and kept in the Tihar Jail.
Delhi-based company Murli Projects had filed a civil case against Yadav's company Shree Naurang Godavari Entertainment for failing to repay Rs 5 crore which the actor took in 2010 to make his Hindi debut directional film "Ata Pata Laapata".
Earlier in October this year, Rajpal Yadav and his wife Radha Yadav welcomed a baby girl in their life. He shared a picture of his eldest daughter to announce the happy news to his fans. With the photo, Rajpal wrote, “My little Honey is now a Big Sister!! On this auspicious day of Navratri we are blessed with another Daughter. #bigsister #newmember #blessed #newbaby #happytimes #happynavratri.”
Rajpal Yadav also has a daughter Jyoti from his first wife Karuna. After the demise of his first wife Karuna, Rajpal went on to marry Radha on May 10, 2003.
On the work front, Rajpal will be seen in a titular role in a Punjabi film titled 'Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh'. He will next be seen in 'Total Dhamaal' this year. It is the sequel to 2011 film Double Dhamaal and the third installment of the Dhamaal film series. The film is directed by Indra Kumar.
