The curly haired beauty Kangana Ranaut took the internet by storm when news of her head injury started doing the rounds. The Rangoon actress suffered a head injury on the sets of her upcoming film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, which sent everyone into complete shock. While, the examining doctor has informed that the actress will be discharged from Hyderabad’s Apollo Hospital in a week, Kangana has spoken about the incident. She said that even though it was embarrassing she felt thrilled to have her face covered in blood.
Speaking to Mid-day, the 30-year-old actress said,"I am a bit embarrassed to be thrilled to have a battle scar on my face. Also, people from my team have been telling me that it's like that Peshwa teeka that Manikarnika wore. It's a bit dramatic but I am excited that my face was covered in blood and I got a genuine and authentic glimpse of the Queen's life."
Meanwhile, a source from Manikarnika sets said Rani of Jhansi was a warrior and Kangana has decided that she will wear her scar with pride just like the Queen of Jhansi did. At the moment, the actress is being attended to by a leading plastic surgeon. Once the film's shoot is wrapped up, she may have to opt for cosmetic surgery, reports suggest.
For the past one week, the Revolver Rani actress is in Ramoji Film City where Hollywood action director Nick Powell is choreographing the stunts for the historical drama. Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi will be directed by Krish and produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain. Kangana Ranaut plays the title role of Jhansi Rani Laxmibai in the film, which is slated to release in April 2018.
