Delhi weather today: The IMD has predicted "enhanced rainfall activity" over northwest India for two-three days.
Rain lashed Delhi-NCR, inundating low-lying areas and affecting traffic movement. People shared pictures, videos of rainwater gushing into residential areas and vehicles wading through waterlogged roads. Delhi traffic police issued an advisory, asking people to check the weather before heading out.

The rains brought down the mercury in the national capital region to 27.6 degrees, the weather office said.
IMD has also said that the monsoon can pick up pace in the coming months, and has predicted well-distributed rainfall in July.
While the India Meteorological Department (IMD) is yet to declare the arrival of the monsoon in Delhi, netizens have already started wishing each other. "Happy Monsoon in Delhi.. #DelhiRains," wrote a user.
The IMD has issued an orange alert, warning of moderate rainfall in the city on June 30. The maximum temperature will come down to 33-34 degrees Celsius by July 1, the weather office said.
The IMD has predicted generally cloudy skies on Monday with light to moderate rain/thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds speed of around 30-40 kmph.
