Deputy Commissioner of Police (outer north district) Brijendra Kumar Yadav said a team of special staff was working on task of apprehending desperate criminal gangs and their sharp shooters.
The deceased was identified as Shivaram Patra, son of a temple priest from Harachandi Taluchha Sahi of the pilgrim town.
Police managed to open the door and found that the gas cylinder was partially opened in the house and there was a suicide note too, the cop said.
The incident took place in Ward-4 under Tilda-Neora police station limits and the deceased have been identified.
