Hot seats in Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Polling in all 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana including Hyderabad will take place in the fourth phase on May 13. With Congress fielding a Muslim candidate, this parliamentary constituency is set to witness an interesting three-cornered fight.

Congress released lists of Lok Sabha candidates for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The grand old party pitted Velichala Rajender Rao against BJP's Sanjay Bandi and Mohd Sameer Waliullah against AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi.

AIMIM had allied with TTV Dhinakaran's Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) in Tamil Nadu for the 2021 Assembly polls and contested from three seats. The AIADMK was part of the BJP-led NDA then.

Gandhinagar is a high-profile constituency from where Amit Shah is the sitting MP and he will recontest from the seat. The AIMIM has said that it will fight on Gandhinagar and Bharuch seats.
