“The idea came about on a sudden spur of the moment, when we were wondering that what could we as a restaurant do in order to encourage the masses to vote.
While it might seem to many people that this is a stunt to cash in on the election fever, on our part, we want to encourage more people from the community to go and vote.
“Moreover, if you notice closely, we are losing out on revenue by giving them a discount. We could have anyways done very well business-wise without such a promotion as well,” he said.
There are more restaurants following suit. Dude Food in Satya Niketan is giving 10 percent discount if you will show your inked finger Friday and Saturday.
