Pak Senate wants Nawaz govt to target PM Modi and his RSS ideology

Miffed over India’s attempts to rake up human rights violations by Pakistani Army in Balochistan, a key committee of Pakistani Senate has asked the Nawaz Sharif government to target PM Narendra Modi and the ‘extremist Hindutva ideology’.

According to a report in The Express Tribune, the first report of the Committee titled, “Policy guidelines in view of the latest situation developing between India and Pakistan”, contains 22 guidelines.

“India’s own fault lines in their alienated Muslims, Sikhs, Christians and Dalits as well as the growing Maoist insurgency be highlighted,” one of the policy guidelines said.

“Indian Premier Narendra Modi and his ‘RSS ideology of Hindutva’ should be targeted,” it added.

The guidelines were presented in the Pakistani Senate by the panel’s chairman and Leader of the House Raja Zafarul Haq.

The report, including all these 22 guidelines, was adopted by the upper house on Friday in the wake of heightened tension between India and Pakistan.
