Nagpur, Oct 30: Gold ornaments worth Rs.1.5 crore were looted from two men in broad daylight from a busy area of the city Tuesday, police said here.

Pradeep Vighe and Mahesh Singh, employees of a Mumbai-based company Khandelwal Logistics, had come to Nagpur to deliver the ornaments and were travelling in an auto-rickshaw when they were waylaid by three men.

"Three men on a motorbike stopped them. Vighe and Singh had two handbags and a suitcase. The robbers threatened to kill them and snatched the bags and suitcase and fled," an official from Nagpur's Sadar Police Station told IANS.
