New Delhi: Delhi Police today filed an FIR against unknown persons under sections 341, 506, 509, 153a of Indian Penal Code on the basis of a complaint of misbehaviour by five Ugandan women.

A Malaviya Nagar police station official said, the victims will be asked to identify Law Minister Somnath Bharti and others from TV footage. That's why Bharti has not been mentioned in the FIR.

Meanwhile, Delhi Police has clamped Sec 144 prohibitory orders in entire New Delhi constituency, after Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said he would lead AAP workers at a dharna outside Home Minister Sushil Shinde's residence to demand action against erring policemen.

Earlier, a  court in Saket,  ordered lodging of FIR against Delhi Law Minister Somnath Bharti for alleged misbehaviour with four Ugandan women on the night of Jan 15.

The four Ugandan women had pleaded before the court that Bharti and others misbehaved with them. The court ordered filing of FIR under sections 323, 506 and 354 Indian Penal Code.

Responding to this, AAP minister Somnath Bharti said, he had no knowledge about the complaint by Ugandan women, but would definitely place his stand before the appropriate authorties.

Bharti alleged that local policemen were getting regular "cuts" from people running the sex and drugs trade in Khirki Extension.

"I don't think  any AAP worker misbehaved with the foreign women", he added.
