Shabana Azmi suffered injuries to her head and neck in an accident on Mumbai-Pune Expressway on Saturday, police and hospital sources confirmed. The 69-year-old actor, however, is not in any danger; doctors said she is in stable condition. A CT scan confirmed subdural hematoma – a type of bleeding usually associated with a traumatic brain injury. The investigation also confirmed cervical spine (neck) injuries.
