With a need for several billion doses around the world, US was committed to provide half a billion, Biden said during a press conference at White House on Tuesday.
The pillars also include addressing violence and crimes committed by criminal gangs and trafficking networks, as well as curbing sexual, gender-based and domestic violence.
The White House also announced on Friday that Biden was nominating a career diplomat, Peter Haas, as the ambassador to Bangladesh.
India's Ambassador to the US Taranjit Singh Sandhu on Thursday interacted with White House fellows.
