IMD predicted heavy rainfall at isolated places over Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gujarat, central Maharashtra, Konkan, Goa, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe for Monday.

The weather department has predicted generally cloudy skies with light rain or drizzle on Sunday. It has issued an orange alert for July 26.
The India Meteorology Department (IMD) on Saturday said the rainfall intensity along the west coast is expected to decrease over the next 24 hours.
The thunderstorms are predicted in the adjoining areas of isolated places of North Delhi, South-West Delhi, South Delhi, Faridabad, Ballabhgarh, the IMD further said.
As heavy rains batter several parts of west and south India, the meteorological department on Friday said isolated extremely heavy falls are very likely over Konkan, Goa, and central Maharashtra in the next two days.
The alert was issued for the next 24 hours for the districts of Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg in coastal Konkan and also for Pune, Satara, and Kolhapur in Western Maharashtra.
On Thursday, the national capital recorded a high of 34 degrees Celsius and a low of 25.6 degrees Celsius.
Major rivers in Ratnagiri and Raigad districts in the Konkan region are flowing above the danger mark as a result of incessant rains while government machinery is in process of shifting affected people to safer places, authorities said.
Heavy rainfall is expected to continue over west and central India over the next three-four days, while the intensity of precipitation over north India is likely to decrease, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Wednesday.

According to the IMD, the sky will generally remain cloudy in Gurugram. The city may receive one or two spells of rain over the next 2-3 hours.

While several other parts of the country were battered by having rains, floods, and even cloud bursts, Delhi kept waiting to beat the heat.
After advancing over Delhi-NCR, the Southwest Monsoon covered the entire country on Tuesday after a delay of five days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
