Mumbai: Man calls police to give information about 'terrorists-in-hiding'; cops begin probe

Mira Bhayandar Police Control Room at around 8.30 pm received the call, sources said.

Mumbai Police on Wednesday went into a tizzy after a unidentified caller claimed that atleast two terrorists were in hiding in Mira Road. Mira Bhayandar Police Control Room at around 8.30 pm received the call, sources said.

According to reports, last night around 8.30 pm, an unknown person called Mira Bhayandar Police Control Room and gave two mobile numbers and claimed that these two are terrorists who were in hiding. Soon after he disconnected the call.

Initiating the probe, Mumbai Police traced these numbers and found that one of these belonged to a woman who was into prostitution. When questioned the woman said that the call may be from any of her disgruntled customer who may have called to take revenge from her.
