Jammu and Kashmir: Four govt employees, including doctor and policeman, terminated for alleged terror links

The J&K administration is pushing the war against terrorist ecosystem and its key stakeholders, who were surreptitiously inducted into the government machinery by political regimes of different shades in the past.

The Jammu and Kashmir administration has dismissed four employees for alleged terror links. This includes a laboratory assistant, an assistant professor of medicine at SMHS hospital, a police constable and a teacher. 

The J&K government terminated the four government employees from service in terms of sub-clause (c) of the proviso to clause (2) of Article 311 of the Constitution of India.

Dismissed employees include Ab. Salam Rather, Laboratory Bearer in Higher Education Department, Farooq Ahmad Mir, Teacher in Education Department, Dr. Nisar-Ul-Hassan, Assistant Professor (Medicine), SMHS Hospital and Abdul Majeed Bhat, Constable in J&K Police.
