Hyderabad: It is probably the biggest recovery of drugs by Custom officials where they have seized drugs worth Rs. 2 crores from a South African woman.

Police had intercepted the woman after getting some special information regarding smuggling of drugs.

Hunguana Joana Samuel, who was departing to Abu Dhabi by a flight at about 12.45 am today from the Rajiv Gandhi International airport and after detailed examination, recovered 20 kgs of narcotic drug suspected to be Ketamine which was deftly concealed in the check-in baggage.

However, after recovery of the drug, the passenger was subsequently interrogated and she admitted the offence.  Further follow-up investigation is going on, they said.
