Thane: A highly decomposed body of a newborn girl, wrapped in a polythene bag, was found floating in the swimming pool of late Bollywood actress Nuran's bungalow  at Parsik Hill in Kharegaon near Mumbra on Saturday morning.

The body was found by a watchman who went there after foul smell emanated from the pool.

The bungalow is presently owned by Nutan's son actor Mohnish Behl, who called the Mumbra police.

The body has been sent to Thane Civil Hospital for post mortem.

The bungalow wasw built in 1965 as a weekend resort by Nutan. It is located on a hilltop, surrounded by forests. But after Nutan's death in 1991, her husband stopped visiting the place. Nutan's husband passed away in 1998, and since then the place has been locked up.
