Muzaffarnagar:  A class 12 girl student allegedly committed suicide by setting herself ablaze here after poor performance in a board examination paper.  The incident occurred yesterday at Titola village of the district.

The girl was worried after failing to perform in one of her board papers, police said quoting her parents.  She was rushed to a near by hospitalswhere she was declared brought dead by the doctors, they said, adding, a case has been registered and further investigations are on.  

In another incident, a-30-year old unidentified woman committed suicide by jumping before train in Shamli yesterday,police said, adding, a case has been registered and body has been sent for post-mortem.
