The girl resides in New Ashok Nagar with her family. Some of Wasim's friends lured the girl saying that Wasim wanted to buy expensive clothes and gifts for her.
They took the girl with them to Anand Vihar Railway station. From there they bought her a ticket for Rajasthan and made her board the train. The girl reached Rajasthan where she met Wasim.
Wasim took her to the nearest guest house and raped her. On protesting, the girl was threatened.
She then pleaded with Wasim to let her go back home but he refused.
The victimhowever managed to approach the nearest STD booth from the guest house. She called her parents and stated the complete story. People at the booth helped her to buy a ticket for Delhi and made her board Delhi's train.
After she reached Delhi and met her family, her parents took her to New Ashok Nagar police station.
A case under sections 376/506 was registered by the police after the girl's medical test.
