Highlights, India vs Australia 2nd ODI, Live from Nagpur: Hello and welcome to our coverage of the 2nd ODI between India and Australia from the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. Today's clash is more than just pride at stake as there is history in this arena. India have never lost a match to Australia at Jamtha as Nagpur has been one of India's favourite hunting yards and for Virat Kohli and Co, it could be a chance to extend their lead in the five-match series. Riding on MS Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav's 141-run partnership in Hyderabad, the Men in Blue will look for their top order to deliver. However, Jamtha does have the longest boundary in India and is quite a treat for the spinners. Today's clash is expected to deliver plenty of fireworks so don't miss out on any of the action as India host Australia in Nagpur. Highlights, India vs Australia, 2nd ODI from Nagpur: India win by 8 runs to take 2-0 lead in five-match ODI series

End of a topsy-turvy battle and India have come out on top again. They choked Australia or let us put it this way, the Aussies choked themselves and eventually got themselves into a rut. With 33 needed from 33 balls with 5 wickets in hand, you back the chasing side to win but perhaps it did not back itself.

21.26 IST: Vijay Shankar to Adam Zampa, OUT! BOWLED! Perfect yorker and the stumps are rattled! India go 2-0 up with an 8-run win. A perfect delivery, right at the base of the stumps, Zampa backs away and attempts to hit it through the off side but misses. The ball goes beneath the bat and hits the timber!

* Adam Zampa is the last man in.

21.23 IST: OUT! Vijay Shankar to Marcus Stoinis, OUT! Umpire's call it is! Vijay has struck gold. That is probably the final nail in the coffin. Stoinis is given his marching orders and he takes Australia's hopes of chasing this down along with him. He bowls it on a length and it skids through. Stoinis looks to heave it on the leg side but misses. Australia 240/9 in 49.1 Overs against India (250 all-out)

* Vijay Shankar to bowl the last over

21.19 IST: Mohammed Shami to Nathan Lyon, FOUR! Lyon hits the boundary Australia needed! A poor delivery this from Shami. A full toss on the pads. NL looks to flick but it goes off the inner half, fine down the leg side and into the fence. Ideal end to what was a good over till then. 9 from it and 11 more needed in the last over.

21.15 IST: Mohammed Shami to Marcus Stoinis, In the air... safe! Fifty for Stoinis. He started off slowly but then got into his own. He holds the key here for Australia. Stoinis walks right across and then looks to flick it over square leg who is inside the ring. It goes off the top edge and over that fielder who trackbacks and puts in a dive but fails to reach it. Two taken.

21.13 IST: Mohammed Shami to Marcus Stoinis, Uses his feet but the length is on the shorter side, Stoinis pushes it back to the bowler. A dot to begin, Shami needs to bowl a good over here.

21.11 IST: Jasprit Bumrah to Marcus Stoinis, Yes, he does! 20 from the last 2. Stoinis shuffles right across and works it through square leg for a single. Also, that is the end of Bumrah's spell. His figures read 10-0-29-2. Another top performance.

21.05 IST: Mohammed Shami to Marcus Stoinis, FOUR! Vital boundary! Shami offers just a little width outside off, Stoinis waits for it and cuts it late. It is past the fielder at point and into the fence. 22 needed in 20.

Mohammed Shami is back into the attack.

Nathan Lyon walks in at number 10, replacing Cummins.

21.01 IST: Jasprit Bumrah to Pat Cummins, OUT! Caught behind! The ball has carried and Cummins is on his bike! This should be the end of the game. Perfect gamble from Kohli or perhaps he knew his cards well upfront. This Bumrah over has more or less sealed the deal for India. A lovely ball, on a length outside off, Cummins looks to defend but then the ball shapes away, taking the thinnest of outside edges. Dhoni takes it well above the ground and appeals but the umpire for some reason, is not sure whether it has carried. He has a chat with his partner and refers it upstairs with the soft signal as OUT. Just one look is enough in the replays.

Pat Cummins walks in at number 9, replacing Coulter-Nile.

20.56 IST: Jasprit Bumrah to Nathan Coulter-Nile, OUT! BOWLED! Indecision costs Coulter-Nile his wicket. He is probably expecting the yorker, hence is not sure whether to come forward or stay back. The ball is bowled on a length and NCN now looks to steer it to third man. But is late.

20.53 IST: Kuldeep Yadav to Nathan Coulter-Nile, Top shot! A little shorter outside off, Coulter-Nile goes back and lifts it over covers for a couple.

Nathan Coulter-Nile walks in at number 8, replacing Carey.

20.51 IST: Kuldeep Yadav to Alex Carey, OUT! Bowled 'em!! India are still in this! But this partnership has probably taken Australia to the brink of victory. India though still won't let it loose as they are in the bowlers. Carey is done in, in flight here. It is give more air. Carey goes for the sweep but the ball goes under the bat and then hits the off pole behind.

20.47 IST: Kuldeep Yadav to Marcus Stoinis, FOUR! 15 from the last over and boundary to begin this one. The quicker one, maybe he was expecting the batsman to step out. Stoinis does not and he easily cuts it through point. Uppishly but in the gap for a boundary. The run rate required is now below six.

20.44 IST: Mohammed Shami to Marcus Stoinis, Angled into the batsman, Stoinis looks to work it around the corner. He misses and gets hit high on the pads. An appeal follows as the ball rolls towards third man. The umpire shakes his head and the batsmen take a run. No signal by the umpire, there might be an inside edge.

Mohammed Shami returns. 7-0-38-0 so far.

20.42 IST: Kuldeep Yadav to Marcus Stoinis, SIX! Not the momentum shifting over but this over has probably turned the tide in the favor of the Aussies. Stoinis uses his feet, gets to the pitch of it and lofts it over the long on stands. 15 from the over so far with a ball to.

20.40 IST: Kuldeep Yadav to Alex Carey, FOUR! Second boundary of the over! Is this the momentum shifting over? 8 from the first three. The slog sweep is out and he has nailed it. In the gap in the mid-wicket region and another boundary.

20.37 IST: Kuldeep Yadav to Alex Carey, FOUR! Excellent effort in the deep but his effort goes in vain. Brings about a important boundary for Australia. Should release some pressure here. Also, it is quite early in the over. They need to make this over count now. This is short and outside off, Carey latches onto it. He cuts it through point and the ball races away. Shankar in the deep makes good ground to his right, dives and looks to push it back but fails to do so.

20.35 IST: Jasprit Bumrah to Marcus Stoinis, Beaten. On a good length this time, outside off, Stoinis looks to punch it without moving his feet and is beaten.

20.32 IST: Kuldeep Yadav to Alex Carey, DOUBLE! Plays the sweep and connects well this time. Hits it through square leg for a couple.

POWERPLAY 3 time. 5 fielders allowed outside the 30-yard circle. The equation seems like it is going down to the wire but one wicket and this will be all over...

20.28 IST: Jasprit Bumrah to Marcus Stoinis, Goes wide of the crease and angles it into the batsman. Stoinis looks to keep it out but gets an inside edge onto his pads. The ball rolls towards the off side and the batsmen take a quick run.

20.24 IST: Jasprit Bumrah to Alex Carey, Well stopped! Saves a run there! Back of a length around off, Carey guides it to the right of Jadeja who dives and makes a half-stop. Keeps the batsmen down to a run.

* Jasprit Bumrah returns to attack

20.22 IST:  Kedar Jadhav to Marcus Stoinis, FOUR! POUNDED! Into the gap. Short and outside off, Stoinis gives himself plenty of room to the leg side and cuts it through the covers for a boundary! Moves to 21 from 33 balls.

20.20 IST: Mohammed Shami to Alex Carey, WIDE! Down the leg side, Carey looks to flick but misses. It has been wided.

Alex Carey is the new man in. The last recognized batsman for the Aussies.

20.17 IST: Mohammed Shami to Peter Handscomb, OUT! Handscomb is well short! The man who was playing so well, the batsman who Australia would have wanted to be there till the end is dismissed by a run out. The last thing that the visitors would have wanted. But let us give credit to the fielder there. That was exceptional stuff by Jadeja. He has a rocket arm and is lightning quick in the fielder and both those qualities were on display there. Peter guides this towards point and sets off for a run. Jadeja in that position is quick to the ball, he picks it up quickly and hits bull's eye at the non-striker's end. The Indians appeal but the umpire takes it upstairs. AUS 171/5 in 37.3 Overs

20.16 IST: Mohammed Shami to Peter Handscomb, FOUR! Chipped over mid-wicket. Very nice shot. Played it with the swing there. It came back in, Handscomb lifts it over mid-wicket. No one in the deep and a boundary results.

20.13 IST: Kedar Jadhav to Marcus Stoinis, FOUR! Spoils what was a very good over till then! Jadhav slips in his bowling stride and hence, ends up bowling it too short. Stoinis makes room and then hits it hard through covers for a boundary. Another over of which 7 has been scored. 84 needed in 78.

20.09 IST: Ravindra Jadeja to Peter Handscomb, FOUR! Much, much-needed this! Finally connects with a sweep shot with a big stride forward. Hits it through square leg and the ball races away. AUS 160/4 in 36 Overs

20.05 IST: Kedar Jadhav to Marcus Stoinis, WIDE! Down the leg side, Macrus once again looks to play it fine but misses. This time it has been wided.

20.01 IST: Kedar Jadhav to Marcus Stoinis, Uses his feet but does not get to the pitch of it. Stoinis strokes it back towards the bowler who moves to his right and collects it.

*Drinks!

19.57 IST: FOUR! PLUNDERED! A bit of a pressure-reliever. Full and around off, Handscomb gets down and sweeps it powerfully through square leg! 150 up for Australia, 101 more needed from 100 balls.

*Kedar Jadhav replaces Kuldeep into the attack

19.52 IST: The Indian spinners continue to tighten the noose as Australia struggle to get runs.

19.46 IST: Kuldeep to Stoinis, OHHHH! Lovely drift, lovely spin! This is given a lot of air, it drifts away initially and the turns back in. Stoinis lunges to defend but leaves a gap between bat and pad. It sneaks through but goes agonizingly past the off pole.

*Marcus Stoinis is the new man in.

19.37 IST: OUT! TIMBER! Kuldeep Yadav has got the Big Show. The good passage of play has brought about the wicket India wanted. However, there is not a lot Maxwell could have done about that delivery. This was short and on middle, Maxwell goes back and looks to pull. The ball though does not bounce at all and it goes under the bat and hits the middle pole. India on top now. Australia need119 more runs with 6 wickets in hand. 129 balls more left.

19.30 IST:  NOT OUT! Maxwell has his foot in but another top delivery. The googly and Maxwell does not pick it. He looks to hit it through the off side but the ball turns away and beats the outside edge. The bowler appeals for a caught behind while Dhoni collects the ball and whips the bails off.

*Kuldeep back on for India noww

*Glenn Maxwell is the new man in.

19.16 IST: OUT! Marsh has been caught down the leg side. Soft, soft way to get out. A lucky breakthrough for India, they though will take it with both hands as they needed to end this budding stand. Jadeja continues bowling a straighter line to the left-hander. This though is down the leg side. Marsh looks to flick, the ball goes off the face of the bat but not as fine as he wanted to. It goes straight into the gloves of Dhoni who takes it an appeals. The umpire quickly raises his finger. All the three spinners now have a wicket each. Game once again evenly poised at the moment. Australia need 129 more with 7 wickets in hand.

*Jadeja comes into the attack now

19.04 IST: FOUR! Not the best of timings but hit it in the right place! Very full and around middle, Handscomb gets his bat down in time and strokes it straight back past the bowler.

*Shami back on for India in place of Kuldeep

18.59 IST: Kedar Jadhav to Shaun Marsh, Marsh now eases it through covers for a run. Too easy for the two at the moment, they are easily working it around and taking a single.

* Drinks! The game is evenly poised at the moment. You can say it is maybe a little in the favor of the Aussies. They started off really well with the openers adding 83. However, they lost both of them for exactly the same score. The two out there now have started well but need to continue. India, need wickets at regular intervals.

18.50 IST: Kedar Jadhav to Peter Handscomb, Outside off, Peter goes back to punch but the ball goes off the outside edge and beats short third man. Two runs taken.

18.47 IST: Kuldeep Yadav to Peter Handscomb, A full toss, around leg, Handscomb reaches out and pushes it to long on for a single. AUS 87/1 in 16.1 Overs

Peter Handscomb walks in now. Two new batsmen at the crease.

18.41 IST: Kedar Jadhav to Usman Khawaja, OUT! In the air... gone! One brings two and that is just the case for India here. The golden-arm, Jadhav strikes. Poor shot to be honest. This is bowled full and wide outside off. Khawaja walks across and looks to whip it across the line and against the turn. The ball takes the leading edge and goes straight into the hands of Kohli. He takes it. The crowd here erupts and India are ecstatic. Both the set batsmen back in the hit.

Shaun Marsh walks in at number 3, replacing his skipper.

18.37 IST: Kuldeep Yadav to Aaron Finch, OUT! The change of ends has done the trick for Kudleep. He has provided exactly what India needed, the breakthrough. That was plumb in front. It was too full to sweep and Finch still goes for it. He misses, the ball turns back in and hits the front pad. An appeal follows and the umpire raises the finger. Finch walks upto his partner and has a chat but then opts not to review. Australia 83/1 in 14.3 Overs against India (250 all-out)

18.34 IST: Ravindra Jadeja to Aaron Finch, Two dots to end! Another tight over, need a few more the Indians if they are to build pressure. The Aussies are cruising at the moment. Shortish and around off, Finch goes back and punches it to covers.

18.30 IST: Kedar Jadhav to Aaron Finch, A single to end a very good first by Jadhav. This is eased down to long off for a run.

Kedar Jadhav is into the attack now.

18.25 IST: Kuldeep Yadav to Aaron Finch, SIX! PLUNDERED! Where did that come from? 'He is watching the ball closely,' says Mitchell Johnson on air. Floated, around off, Finch gets down and slog sweeps it way over mid-wicket!

* Kuldeep Yadav into attack now.

18.24 IST: Ravindra Jadeja to Usman Khawaja, FOUR! Runs flowing now! Flatter and outside off, Khawaja looks to play it with an open face but it runs down off the edge and races to the third man fence.

POWERPLAY 2 time.

18.22 IST: Vijay Shankar to Aaron Finch, FOUR! Third boundary in the over! Shankar has already gone for 13 in the over and there is still a ball to go. Good length and outside off, Finch waits for it and guides it past short third man. AUS 60/0 in 9.5 Overs

18.20 IST: Vijay Shankar to Aaron Finch, FOUR! Easy-peasy! A full toss on off, Finch just slams it back past the bowler and into the fence.

18.18 IST: Vijay Shankar to Usman Khawaja, FOUR! 50-run stand is up between the openers! Just the start they would have wanted. Also, they needed to score runs of the new ball on this slow wicket and they have done so.

*Vijay Shankar is on attack now.

18.17 IST: Ravindra Jadeja to Aaron Finch, FOUR! Easy pickings! Down the leg side, Finch helps it on its way to the fine leg boundary. Second boundary in the over. AUS 47/0 in 8.5 Overs

18.16 IST: Ravindra Jadeja to Usman Khawaja, FOUR! Takes the aerial route and gets the desired result. Jadeja gives it air but it is a little full. Khawaja goes down on one knee and with the turn, slog sweeps it over the mid-wicket fielder and for a boundary.

18.12 IST: Jasprit Bumrah to Usman Khawaja, FOUR.

* Ravindra Jadeja is on now. So just like Australia, the Indians too have brought on a spinner pretty early.

18.06 IST: Jasprit Bumrah to Usman Khawaja, On the pads, Khawaja looks to flick but misses. It hits his pads and rolls to the right of Dhoni. The keeper does really well to dive to his right and get a hand to it. Saves three for his side. Leg bye signaled.

18.04 IST: Jasprit Bumrah to Usman Khawaja, FOUR! Lovely shot that is! The key here was he picks the length early, goes back and with one leg up, pulls it over the square leg fielder for a boundary. AUS 31/0 in 5.2 Overs

18.02 IST: Mohammed Shami to Aaron Finch, WIDE! Down the leg side, Finch looks to flick but misses. Umpires signals it wide.

17.57 IST: Jasprit Bumrah to Aaron Finch, EDGY FOUR! On the off pole and once again it is on a length. Finch looks to stroke it on the up but it flies off the outside edge and past the first slip fielder for a boundary. The last ball spoils what was an excellent over till then. AUS 25/0 in 4 Overs

17.53 IST: Jasprit Bumrah to Usman Khawaja, Plays at a ball which he need not! Length and outside off, it shapes away even further. Khawaja hangs his bat out and gets beaten.

17.50 IST: Mohammed Shami to Aaron Finch, FOUR! This is a really good shot! First boundary for him and it is a brilliant shot. Not a lot wrong with that ball. It is on a length just outside off. Finch strokes it on the up and through covers. Boundary.

17.47 IST: Jasprit Bumrah to Aaron Finch, Three runs! That should give Finch some confidence. It was the in-dipper and it came back in a long way. Finch normally gets dismissed on such deliveries but this time, he gets his front pad out of the way and flicks it through mid-wicket. Jadhav from mid-on gives it a chase and manages to pull it back. Saves a run for his side. AUS 13/0 in 1.4 Overs

17.45 IST: Jasprit Bumrah to Aaron Finch, Well bowled and well played in the end! Bumrah goes wide of the crease and angles it into the off pole. Finch at first feels it is coming in but then it leaves him late. Finch first thinks about defending it but then at the very end pulls his bat out of the way.

17.44 IST: WIDE! Jasprit Bumrah to Aaron Finch, He too starts off with a wide, however, this is one outside off. Finch lets it be and the umpire stretches his hands sideways.

Jasprit Bumrah to bowl from the other end

17.42 IST: FOUR! A boundary to end! Australia have started the chase well here. Straying in line once again, on the pads, Khawaja flicks it fine on the leg side and bags the first boundary of this innings. AUS 8/0 in 1 Over

17.40 IST: Mohammed Shami to Usman Khawaja, DOUBLE! Again on the pads, Khawaja gets off the mark as he flicks it through square leg for a couple.

17.39 IST: Mohammed Shami to Aaron Finch, Finch is off the mark! On the pads, this is flicked to fine leg for a run. Shami is drifting down the leg side here. He is getting the ball to shape in but needs to start from outside off.

17.38 IST: Mohammed Shami to Aaron Finch, A false start by Shami! Way down the leg side, Finch looks to flick but misses. Umpires signal wide.

We are back for the chase! The India players make their way out to the middle. They are followed by the Australian openers, Aaron Finch and Usman Khawaja. The right-hander will be on strike and he will face Mohammed Shami who has the first new ball in hand. Here we go...

Now then 251 is the target! Not going to be an easy chase this for the Australians. The wicket is on the slower side and there is turn for the spinners. The visitors will have to bat really well here. Will India go 2-0 up or will the visitors level the series? Join us in a while to find out.

For Australia, Pat Cummins was the pick of the bowlers. He was given the responsibility of bowling with the new ball. Did well and then was also excellent at the death. Lyon was economical. Zampa was poor initially but pulled things back well in the end. Nathan Coulter-Nile though had a day to forget as he was wayward and expensive.

* Zampa then got rid of Dhoni and Jadhav in the very same over. The Australia bowlers then managed to pull things back but India still had Kohli at one end. He went onto to score a brilliant ton. Jadeja played the perfect foil to him and the two added yet another handy stand. However, when the time came to accelerate, the latter perished. Kohli too followed him and then the tail failed to contribute much. From 238 for 6 in the 46th over, the hosts have been bundled out for 250.

* A decent bowling effort from the Australian side. They will be happy with where they are at the moment but India too won't be very disappointed. However, they would feel they could have done better after Vijay Shankar and Virat Kohli's 81-run stand. They joined association after the Australians got rid of Rayudu, Dhawan and Rohit pretty quickly. The Indians were in a spot of bother at 75 for three but then Shankar and Kohli played themselves in. The former, once he got his eye in, started to accelerate. He looked really good out there and when he was batting, India looked well on course for 280. However, he fell in a very unfortunate manner and that changed the course of the game.

16.53 IST: Nathan Coulter-Nile to Jasprit Bumrah, OUT!!! Bowled. Full length delivery around off, Bumrah looks to hit it on the off side but gets a thick inside edge and the ball hits the middle pole. INDIA ALL OUT FOR 250.

Jasprit Bumrah walks out at number 11 for India.

16.48 IST: Pat Cummins to Kuldeep Yadav, OUT! TIMBER! Four-fer for Cummins! The slower one has done in Kuldeep completely. It is on the leg stump, Yadav shuffles way too across and tries to flick but is quite early into the stroke. He misses and the ball hits the stumps behind.

Mohammed Shami replaces his skipper out in the middle.

16.45 IST: Pat Cummins to Virat Kohli, OUT! Straight to the fielder! Kohli can't believe it as he stands there, looks down and then turns and starts walking back. He walks back dejected but to a standing ovation by the crowd here and he deserves it. A brilliant innings from him. He falls prey to the short ball which he pulls nicely but does not get the desired distance. Sotinis at deep square leg takes a good sliding catch.

16.42 IST: Adam Zampa to Virat Kohli, FOUR!!! Excellent shot. Tossed up delivery on middle and off, Kohli keeps his eyes on the ball and hits it through mid-wicket for a boundary.

Kuldeep Yadav is the new man in.

16.40 IST: Pat Cummins to Ravindra Jadeja, OUT! Jadeja perishes in the attempt to up the ante! However, he has played a good supporting role here. IND 238/7 in 45.5 Overs

16.35 IST: Adam Zampa to Ravindra Jadeja, Gives it a lot of air and bowls it around leg, it is the googly. Jadeja looks to sweep but misses to get hit on the pads. Two dots to end an excellent over by Zampa. Could have easily had a wicket. IND 233/6 in 45 Overs

* Adam Zampa is back now.

16.28 IST: Nathan Coulter-Nile to Virat Kohli, FOUR! Gets to his ton in style! Century no. 40. Magnificent ton this is from the Indian skipper. An innings of a lot of character and determination. A ton on wicket which has played a lot of tricks. Leading from the front is the skipper. He gets there with a cut shot. It races to the point fence. Takes his helmet off and soaks in the applause.

 * Glenn Maxwell to Virat Kohli, Onto 99! He keeps strike for the next over also as he flicks it through square leg.

16.23 IST: Nathan Coulter-Nile to Virat Kohli, Just a boundary away now! Full and around off, Kohli leans into it and strokes it through covers. Handscomb runs to his right, dives just before the ball crosses the ropes and pulls it back in. Saves a run for his side.

Nathan Coulter-Nile is back on.

16.18 IST: Glenn Maxwell to Ravindra Jadeja, Flatter and shorter on off, Jadeja slaps it down to long off for a run. 2000 ODI runs for Jadeja.

POWERPLAY 3 time. 5 fielders allowed outside the 30-yard circle till the end.

16.12 IST: Pat Cummins to Virat Kohli, Direct hit needed... but misses! Kohli was way short there. Length ball and around off, VK taps it towards point and wants a run. He is off, however, Jadeja is not interested. Kohli though is a long way down. He tries and turns to get in but that does not seem possible. To his luck though, Maxwell misses his shy ath the striker's end. The fielder backing up is too deep and an overthrow is taken. Lucky reprieve there and Australia will feel, this is the chance they needed to take.

16.07 IST: Pat Cummins to Virat Kohli, FOUR! Not often do you see Kohli throwing his bat! This is one of those rare occasions. Short and outside off, the Indian skipper latches onto the width and gets it behind point for a boundary!

Pat Cummins is back on now.

16.00 IST: WIDE! Glenn Maxwell to Virat Kohli, Down the leg side, Kohli looks to hit it fine but misses. It has been wided.

15.54 IST: Glenn Maxwell to Virat Kohli, Kohli makes a little room and tries to hit it through covers. Finch there though dives and gets a hand to it. Deflects it towards wide long off and only a couple.

Glenn Maxwell is back.

15.52 IST: Nathan Lyon to Ravindra Jadeja, SAFE! Just by an inch! Beautiful bowling from Lyon in the first place. Tossed up outside off, Jadeja came forward to defend but then the ball spun away and bounced. IND 174/6 in 33.4 Overs

* STUMPING APPEAL! Not much celebrations from the Aussies. Did Jadeja get his back foot back in time? Referred upstairs...

15.51 IST: Nathan Lyon to Virat Kohli, Full and around off, writes through square leg for a comfortable couple. Both these batsmen are quick between the wickets. Replays show that Kohli took the second run by running right in the middle of the pitch. Right in the middle.

15.48 IST: Adam Zampa to Ravindra Jadeja, NO hat-trick as it is safely negotiated. Flatter and on middle, Jadeja goes back and works it to short fine leg.

Ravindra Jadeja walks in at number 8, replacing Dhoni, to face the hat-trick ball.

15.46 IST: Adam Zampa to MS Dhoni, OUT! Two-in-two for Zampa and the two batsmen who steered India home in the last game, are dismissed.

15.44 IST: Adam Zampa to Kedar Jadhav, OUT! Zampa strikes! Australia have two in quick succession and India now have half their side back in the hut. The hero of the last game, fails to make an impact here. Adam floats it up outside off, once again it is very full. That though plays in the advantage of the bowler as the batsman looks to go over covers. He fails to get underneath the ball and hence, does not get the desired elevation. Ends up hitting it flat and hard towards cover where Finch takes a sharp catch. Australia crawling their way back into the game and a much-needed wicket for Zampa as this should give him confidence now.

15.38 IST: Adam Zampa to Virat Kohli, DOUBLE!  A short ball to finish! Kohli goes back and punches it through covers for a couple.

15.35 IST: Nathan Lyon to Kedar Jadhav, Excellent fielding effort from Peter Handscomb. Short and outside off, Kedar cuts it behind point. The ball rolls away to the fence bu Handscomb races to his right and dives full stretch to his left, landing awkwardly on his left shoulder. He manages to save the boundary but clutches his left shoulder in pain. Hope he is okay. Three runs taken.

Kedar Jadhav comes in at number 6, replacing Shankar.

15.31 IST: Adam Zampa to Virat Kohli, OUT! Yes, the ball has flicked the finger tips and Shankar is short of his crease. He walks back in disappointment and disgust. He was playing so well out there, so fluent and his innings ends in a very unfortunate manner. Australia though will be relieved as this partnership was taking the game away from them. Zampa tosses this up, once again it is very full. Kohli smashes it towards the bowler who sticks his hand out to the right. The ball then goes onto hit the stumps. Shankar in the meantime looks to get back in with a dive. The Australians appeal and it is a very confident one. The umpire takes it upstairs and after the replays, OUT flashes on the giant screen.

15.27 IST: Adam Zampa to Vijay Shankar, FOUR! Straight as an arrow! He is playing a gem here. This is tossed up on middle, Shankar lunges forward and then hits it over the bowler's head for a boundary.

Adam Zampa is back on now.

15.24 IST: Nathan Lyon to Virat Kohli, FOUR! 18 from the last 7 balls! Flatter and just a little outside the off pole. Kohli waits for it and then uses the pace, guides it past short third man and into the fence.

15.22 IST: SIX! A biggie to end the over! 14 from it! An expensive first by Stoinis! Another short delivery, too easy at his pace. Shankar stands tall and pulls it over the mid-wicket fence. He is into the 40s now. IND 141/3 in 27 Overs

15.21 IST: Marcus Stoinis to Vijay Shankar, FOUR! What a shot! Best shot so far played by Shankar! Slightly short and on middle, Shankar goes back quickly and then lifts it over mid-wicket. No one in the deep so a boundary. IND 133/3 in 26.4 Overs

15.17 IST: Nathan Lyon to Vijay Shankar, 50-run stand up and it has come in very good time! India were in a spot of bother when the two joined forces but they are taking them to safer shores. Shankar works this through mid-wicket and gets to the other end.

15.13 IST: Nathan Coulter-Nile to Virat Kohli, Fifty for Virat Kohli. His 50th fifty in ODIs! A captain's knock this. Wickets were falling at the other end but he kept continuing. Has made batting look so easy on a wicket which batting is not easy. Only half the job done though. IND 121/3 in 24.3 Overs

15.11 IST: Nathan Coulter-Nile to Vijay Shankar, FOUR! On the up! Length delivery, Shankar uses his wrists and then strokes it past mid on. A boundary.

15.09 IST: Nathan Lyon to Vijay Shankar, FOUR! Tickled fine and a boundary! On the pads, Shankar flicks it very fine on the leg side and it races away to the fence. IND 113/3 in 23.2 Overs

15.08 IST: Nathan Coulter-Nile to Vijay Shankar, Length delivery again, Shankar strokes it on the up towards cover. The fielder there makes a good diving stop but can't stop the run.

15.05 IST: Nathan Lyon to Vijay Shankar, Well done! Just a single from the over! Shankar works it to the right of the bowler. Lyon dives and saves a run.

15.03 IST: Change of ends for Nathan Lyon.

14.57 IST: FOUR! Was not so good in his first spell and he starts off with a poor ball here. Short and outside off, Shankar goes back and guides it through point. Welcomes back NCN into the attack with a boundary. 100 up for India. Smashed by Kohli. IND 101/3 in 20.1 overs

14.57 IST: BYE! Well bowled! Tossed up outside off, this one pitches, stays low and skids through. Kohli looks to defend but the ball goes past the bat before it comes down. The keeper too fails to go down in time. It brushes his pads and rolls towards third man for a run.

14.55 IST: 5 singles in this over as Shankar waits for it and then nudges it square on the leg side for a run.

14.50 IST: FOUR! Back-to-back boundaries and this is way better than the last one! Overcompensates does Zampa as he lands it very full outside off. Kohli creams it through covers to end the over with a boundary. Another expensive one from Zampa as 10 comes from it. IND 85/3 in 18 overs

14.49 IST: FOUR! Poor ball and put away! Short and on middle, very short actually. Kohli goes back and pulls it through square leg for a boundary. IND 81/3 in 17.5 overs

* Drinks! Vijay Shankar is the new man in.

14.47 IST: OUT! No bat there, it has pitched in line and it is crashing into the middle stump. A waste of a review to be honest by Rayudu as that looked out to the naked eye. He has to walk back and he takes India's only review along with him. Another bidding partnership comes to an end and Lyon makes an impact straightaway. Strikes off his last ball of his first over. Nothing great about the delivery though. It pitches around the leg pole and goes on with the angle. Rayudu plays all around it. He misses and the ball hits him above the knee role on the back pad.

* India review now! Rayudu is given out LBW. He has reviewed. Is there an inside edge or has that pitched outside the leg stump?

14.41 IST: FOUR!  DEFT! Lovely shot this! Lyon tosses it up outside off, Kohli waits for it, sees the ball closely and then guides it through short third man. Runs starting to come thick and fast now. 74/2 in 16.3 overs

14.40 IST: Direct hit but the batsman is well in! Kohli plays it late towards short third man. He thinks of a run but is rightly sent back by his partner.

14.38 IST: Help yourself says Zampa. Bowls a full toss. Rayudu goes back and pulls it over mid-wicket. No fielder in the deep and a boundary results.

14.36 IST: FOUR! That's been hammered away by Rayudu! Could have been a maximum but just fell short. IND 67/2 in 15.3 overs

14.33 IST: FOUR! Timing and placement! Well played shot by Rayudu. A much-needed boundary here! Maxwell is guilty of bowling it a little too full here. Rayudu plants his front foot ahead and across and then strokes it through covers for a boundary. IND 59/2 in 14.2 overs

14.29 IST: Good shot! Fires it outside off, Rayudu strokes it through covers. Wide of long off for a couple. 50 up for India.

14.27 IST: On the shorter side, Kohli shuffles right across and works it through square leg. He takes one and calls for the second and the batters complete it with ease. Big boundaries here, there should be a lot of 2s available.

14.25 IST: Just a little bit of width on offer outside off, Rayudu strokes it nicely off the back foot but finds the man at point. IND 47/2 in 12 overs

14.22 IST: WIDE! Way too short and this one bounces well over the batsman's head.

* Powerplay 2 has been signaled! Now a maximum of four fielders can be placed outside the circle till the 40th over.

14.18 IST: Oops.... that is a hoick. Rayudu comes down the track and has a wild swing but is nowhere near the pitch of the ball. Gets a thick inside edge onto his pads which rolls away to the off side. That is a very, very rash shot. Kohli will not be happy seeing that. Cummins has a word with Rayudu, followed by a smile. A maiden for Cummins, 10/1 in the last 4 overs!

14.14 IST: AR is off the mark as he pushes it towards mid off and scampers across for a single. End of a successful over by Maxwell. IND 39/2 in 9.2 overs

* Ambati Rayudu walks in at number 4, replacing Dhawan.

14.10 IST: OUT! Three reds and Dhawan has to take the long walk back! What a review by Australia and Maxwell has struck gold here. He is absolutely elated. The offie has cut short the partnership which was looking very good and also brought the downfall of Dhawan who was timing the ball really well. Maxwell does what he has been doing till now. Fires it in on middle, Dhawan goes back to whip, he though misses and is hit on the front pad. An appeal follows, a loud one from the bowler but the umpire shakes his head. Maxwell convinces his skipper to go for the review and Finch does so. Replays roll in and it shows no inside edge. Hawk Eye shows the on-field call has to be overturned. Both the openers back in the hut within Powerplay 1 here. Maxwell removes Dhawan for 21. India 38/2 in 8.3 overs

* Review time! A huge shout for an LBW has not been given. Maxwell is pretty confident and he wants it to be reviewed. Finch does so, Dhawan is the man in question. Looks close though.

14.02 IST: An appeal but nothing. Flatter and this one drifts in from outside off. Dhawan plays it really late. Maxwell appeals as he feels it is pad first but the umpire shakes his head. Right call from the umpire and replays confirm that.

13.57 IST: FOUR! A freebee and Dhawan isn't letting that one go. The fourth boundary for Dhawan. Down the leg side, Dhawan says thank you very much. He helps it on its way to the fine leg fence. IND 29/1 in 5.4 overs

13.52 IST: FOUR! Quick and precise by Dhawan. He is looking in great touch here! Just a little bit of width on offer outside off and that was enough for the opener. He goes back and then guides it through point, it races away to the fence. IND 24/1 in 4.5 overs

13.51 IST: FOUR! Now that's a shot by Dhawan. Short and on middle, Dhawan is quickly onto the back foot and he pulls it hard through mid-wicket for a boundary. Raining boundaries here. IND 20/1 in 4.3 overs

13.47 IST: FOUR! Another one and brilliantly timed by the skipper. A little too straight and NCN pays the price. Full and on middle, Kohli this time uses his wrists and works it through mid-wicket. No stopping those. IND 16/1 in 3.4 overs

13.46 IST: FOUR! A classy shot by Kohli. The on-drive, probably the hardest shot in the game and it is played to perfection here. Full and on off, Kohli shuffles across and then with a straight bat strokes it to mid on. A boundary, his first. IND 12/1 in 3.2 overs

13.44 IST: Uppish but away from the fielder at gully. Full and outside off, a little shape away. Kohli looks to drive but he gets an outside edge through backward point and down towards third man for a run. The skipper is off the mark.

13.41 IST: A couple to end an expensive first by NCN! Slightly straighter again, Dhawan works it through mid on and takes a brace. 7 from Nathan's first. Not what Australia wanted, they would have liked Coulter-Nile to bowl a good follow-up over after Cummins bowled an excelent first. IND 7/1 in 2 overs

13.37 IST: FOUR! Dhawan opens his account with a boundary. First boundary of the game is off his bat. Easy pickings for him. It is full and on the pads, Dhawan flicks it. It is right off the middle and it races to the fence. This is should give him confidence after he was dismissed for not a lot in the last game. IND 4/1 in 1.1 overs

13.36 IST: OUT!  In the air... taken! Cummins excellent first over ends with a wicket. However, this was not probably the worst ball he bowled in this over. He won't care though as Australia strike early. This one is short and wide outside off, Rohit senses an opportunity to get off the mark, so he goes for the cut short. There is extra bounce though on that one and hence, Rohit can't get on top of it. He gets a top edge which flies down to third man. Cummins removes Rohit for 0. India 0/1 in 1 over

13.31 IST: First ball of the match - Goes very full and on the stumps, a hint of outswing for the bowler there. Rohit Sharma with a straight bat but minimal foot movement, strokes it to mid off. Starts off right on the money does Pat.

13.28 IST: And the stage is set! Openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan are out on the field. The Aussie players are out on a warm sunny day in Nagpur. Pat Cummins handed the new ball and here we go...

13.18 IST: The Men in Blue are ready for today. Which batsman do you think will stand out?

13.10 IST: Australia have made two changes to their playing XI as Shaun Marsh and Nathan Lyon come in place of Turner and Behrendorff.

13.06 IST: Playing XI's for the 2nd ODI.

India Playing XI: Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli(c), Ambati Rayudu, MS Dhoni(w), Kedar Jadhav, Vijay Shankar, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah

Australia Playing XI: Usman Khawaja, Aaron Finch(c), Shaun Marsh, Marcus Stoinis, Peter Handscomb, Glenn Maxwell, Alex Carey(w), Nathan Coulter-Nile, Pat Cummins, Nathan Lyon, Adam Zampa

13.01 IST: Australia win toss, opt to bowl against India in Nagpur.

12.45 IST: How does the wicket look? A good sign for the spinners?

12.44 IST:

12.10 IST: How's the mood in Nagpur? The former and the current skipper are sure excited.

Hello and welcome to our live blog of the India vs Australia 2nd ODI live from Nagpur. The TOSS will take place at 13.00 PM IST and play will commence from 13.30 PM IST.

Brief Report: The Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Jamtha has proved to be a good hunting ground for India against Australia as the hosts have emerged victorious by a comfortable margin in all the three ODI matches played at the venue. India first played the Aussies on October 28, 2009, which was co-incidentally the first match at the VCA Stadium, situated on the outskirts of the 'Orange' city. With only four ODIs remaining before the World Cup, the hosts will look to finalise the "two available spots" in an otherwise settled squad.
