Two ambulance vans are always present in parliament round the clock. When parliament is in session, 1 ambulance belonging to PM cavalcade and another belonging to Vice-president's cavalcade are  also present in parliament.

When  Sonia Gandhi was rushed out of parliament in a car, these two ambulances , in addition to the two ambulances of parliament, were also present on the spot.
 
There is a first aid post adjacent to the Central Hall of parliament. 3 doctors are assigned to this post and their duty hours start from 9am every day.

Normally they are supposed to stay till 6 pm but when parliament is in session, they have to stay at the post till the time the parliament finishes the business of the day.

These doctors offer medical help to  members of parliament  in case they are facing minor health related problems.
 
There is a medical centre inside the Parliament Annexe. This medical centre is equipped with all kinds of medical facilities and equipments.

The OPD of this medical centre consists of specialists Doctors. This centre is also equipped to handle minor surgical operations.

MPs and ministers can avail of medical facilities available here between 9am-6pm.
