Solapur (Maharashtra): Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP's prime ministerial candidate narendra Modi today promised the farmers of the country that as promised in BJP manifesto, if his party comes to power then he will fix MSP (Minimum Support Price) in such a way that will ensure 50 percent profit on investment to farmers. Addressing an election rally in Solapur of Maharashtra, Modi said, “you have elected rulers for 60 years. Now is the time to elect a servant. Just give me 60 months.The BJP manifesto has promised to change the parameters for deciding MSP. We will make sure that MSP for farmers is fixed in such a way that will ensure at least 50 percent profit to them on their investment.”Modi reminded the audience of the diagonally opposite background of Rahul Gandhi and himself. “For Congress, poverty is a subject of publicity. They go to a poor's house with hordes of mediapersons. Those who are born with golden spoons can't understand what poverty is all about? They have not seen poverty.
