Raut alleged that the Narendra Modi government has been unable to build the temple in Ayodhya despite promising people and getting a majority in the 2014 general elections.
"We are not trying to make a nationwide mega alliance. Our effort is to form state-wise alliances, giving primacy to the major political party in every state," said Pawar.
"For the BJP, it (Ram temple) is a matter of faith and devotion. The BJP is a strong advocate of construction of Ram temple as per the law," said Pandey.
Rajnath said the BJP wants Ram temple to be built in a conducive environment. However, he added that everyone should wait for the Supreme Court verdict over the decades-long contentious issue.
"Lord Ram is a personality, which is incomparable -- be it as a son or a warrior. Lord Ram is our role model... It was due to Lord Ram that India became a global superpower," Chaudhary said.
Thackeray was reviewing preparations for his visit to Ayodhya on November 24 and 25, with senior party leaders. Other Sena leaders from outside Maharashtra too attended the meeting.
"Rahul Gandhi has failed in politics and is misleading the public. He is raking up the Rafale issue to share information with Pakistan and China," he said.
Today, at the Centre as well as in Uttar Pradesh, BJP has an absolute majority, but it has "failed" to resolve the long-pending issue, he said.
Nobody knows when and how the Ram temple will be constructed in Ayodhya. However, India TV has accessed the exclusive visuals of the model of the proposed Ram temple in Ayodhya.
After the three rallies at the national level, the VHP would start a mass awareness programme over the Ram temple issue across the country, the release said.
He alleged that Congress activists were opposing Ram temple, Ram Setu (a mythological bridge between India and Sri Lanka) and engaging in "cow slaughtering".
Addressing a gathering on the occasion, Yogi Adityanath announced the setting up of an airport in Ayodhya to be named after Lord Ram, a medical college to be named after Lord Ram's father King Dashrath.
The news of building lord's Ram 151 metre statue had been coming for a while but the CM confirmed it on Wednesday. The land for the construction has not been finalised as yet.
This will be the second year in row that the Chief Minister will celebrate Diwali in Ayodhya and lead the lighting of over three lakh ‘diyas’ (earthen lamps), decorated by 5000 children, on the banks of river Saryu.
