Other significant features of Kawasaki Z1000 include dedicated spark plug-mounted ignition coils which ensure optimum timings for individual cylinders. The cooling and exhaust systems of the bike are also highly advanced which increase the efficiency levels of the engine. Other highlights include a large fuel tank, aluminium backbone frame, rider interface and horizontal back-link rear suspension. The USP this bike, however, remains its DOHC 16-valve engine that has a displacement of 1043 cc. This engine develops maximum output of around 140 bhp and peak torque of 111 Nm.
