Pawar had then denied any secret meeting with Modi. In fact, he has said that barring official meetings, he never met Modi in last one year.
Reacting to the newspaper report, Pawar had tweeted, “News of my meeting with Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Jan 17 appeared in a news paper is completely mischchievous, baseless & false.
“During state visits or in Chief Ministers conferences in Delhi, I meet CM's and barring these occasions, never met Modi in last one year,” added Pawar in his tweet.
NCP spokesperson Nawab Malik has also denied that any secret meeting took place between Sharad Pawar and Narendra Modi.
