Two dead in roof collapse in Ambala
Two people were killed, while four others of a family were seriously injured after roof of their house collapsed in Dilipgarh area of Ambala. The incident was reported on Saturday morning following heavy rains, police said.
The deceased have been identified as Sheetal (15) and her brother Hunny (7).
The family members were sleeping inside their house at the time of the incident.
The roof of the house was already in a dilapidated condition, when it collapsed following heavy rainfall.
Those trapped under the debris were pulled out by neighbours.
The injured were rushed to the hospital, where two of them were declared brought dead upon arrival.
