According to reports, the passengers were returning after attending a wedding in Mahla village. The driver, apparently, fell asleep and the vehicle rammed into trailer.
The accident took place on Mahagama-Pathargama road in Mahagama Police Station area on May 21 when the victims were on the way to Godda town.
Naya Bahadur, who was injured in the Bahraich accident, told reporters that all the people in the vehicle were Nepali citizens and that they had arrived in Delhi-National Capital Region seeking employment. They had left the capital on Friday and were slated to reach back home on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Manisha Kumari (18) while the other two injured girls, Kalpana and Sanjana, have been moved to Balaji hospital for medical assistance.
All the information collected by the police regarding the road accidents, the place of accident and the action taken, etc., will be uploaded on IRAD software.
According to police, the vehicle was overloaded beyond its authorized capacity of seven. The vehicle was carrying 13 people.
According to Jaggaiahpet Circle Inspector P Chandrasekhar, the occupants of the car were residents of Hyderabad and were on their way to Jangareddygudem in West Godavari district to attend a function.
Police said the 5 victims, all male, in the car were travelling towards Rajasthan.
