Indian weightlifters continued their great run at the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2018 in Gold Coast, Australia as Delhi boy Deepak Lather on Friday won the Bronze medal in Men's 69kg category.
The Manipuri athlete created a CWG record in Snatch, lifting a total of 84 kg, and then lifted 108 kg on her way to get to a total lift of 192 kg.
CWG gold-medallist Mirabai Chanu had shown her weightlifting prowess even as a 12-year-old when she would comfortably lift more firewoods than her elder brother.
