Xiaomi has launched its one of the most anticipated smartphone that eyes the gaming market segment called the- Black Shark Helo (aka Black Shark 2). The phone got launched in China on Tuesday and is the latest gaming handset, making it a successor to the Xiaomi Black Shark, which the company had launched in April this year. The Xiaomi Black Shark Helo (Black Shark 2) comes with gaming-focussed features and will be making its way in the market in three RAM variants and a bigger display. Xiaomi will be selling the Black Shark Helo (Black Shark 2) in China for now and there is no information on whether it will be unveiled globally.
For optics, the phone with a dual-rear camera setup with a 12 Megapixel primary sensor along with a 20 Megapixel secondary sensor. Both cameras come with f/1.75 aperture and LED flash. Towards the front is the 20 Megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture.
It houses a 4000mAh battery and comes with Quick Charge 3.0 support. Other connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, AGPS, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Glonass, aptX and aptX HD support.
The fingerprint sensor is moved towards the back and comes with a glowing RGB logo towards the back with AI game lighting, which changes colours depending on the game.
The phone has a dedicated two-stage SHARK key, which offers immersive gaming experience and also gets a standard detachable gamepad with a touchpad that can be controlled at the same time.

The Xiaomi Black Shark Helo price starts at 3199 yuan (Rs. 33,920 approx.) for 6GB RAM+128GB storage variant, the 8GB RAM+128GB storage variant costs 3499 yuan (Rs. 37,100 approx.), while the 10GB RAM+256GB storage version with both right and left gamepads costs 4199 yuan (Rs. 44,520 approx.). The Black Shark Helo will be available on sale in China from October 30th.
