Earlier, Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP's PM candidate Narendra Modi blasted Congress president Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi for always abusing him and made it clear to them that the more they try to abuse them, the more his party will grow.

Addressing an impressive gathering at Kushinagar in UP, Modi said, “Listen Sonia Ji, the more muck you and your son throw at me, the more the lotus will blossom.”

Modi was at his acerbic best in targeting both SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav and the local MP R P N Singh for not doing anything for the sugar mills lying shut down in the area.

“The sugar mills are closed down in this part. What is Neta ji doing? You are very close to Sonia Gandhi family. Should such people be forgiven? You cannot elect someone who is not concerned about your future,” said Modi.

“Your MP (R P N Singh) is so close to Madam but he is not bothered about the problems of Kushinagar's farmers,” added Modi.
