Mumbai Indians registered a comfortable victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in their final game of the season to finish 5th in the IPL 2021 table.
Ishan Kishan took charge of MI's innings at the start, slamming an incredible 84 off just 32 deliveries.
After Kishan's departure, Youngster Abhishek Sharma gave MI a double-blow as he dismissed Kieron Pollard and James Neesham off successive deliveries.
Suryakumar Yadav, however, held one end and gave MI a strong finish with 82 off 40 deliveries.
Jason Roy (33) and Abhishek Sharma (32) gave SRH a brisk start, which ensured the side go past the 65-run mark with ease and end MI's hopes for qualification.
After Neesham took Abhishek Sharma's wicket, however, the SRH suffered a batting order collapse, as five players were dismissed on single digits.
Manish Pandey held one end with an unbeaten half-century but it wasn't enough for the SRH, as they conceded defeat in their final game of the season.
