Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday replied to debate on No-Confidence Motion against his government in Lok Sabha and said that Opposition's no-trust motion has always been lucky for BJP-led NDA government.

The No-Confidence Motion will ensure we will return with a record-breaking mandate, the Prime Minister said.

"Opposition brought No-Confidence Motion in 2018 also, I had said it was their floor test, not of the government, and was proven right," the Prime Minister said.

"God is very kind and speaks through some medium... I believe that it's the blessing of God that opposition has brought this motion. I had said during the no-confidence motion in 2018 that it was not a floor test for us but a floor test for them and as a result they lost in the elections...," he said.

Lashing out at Opposition, PM Modi said, "Centuries being scored here (treasury benches) and no-balls being bowled from there (opposition benches)."

"For opposition, party is above country, they have more interest in hunger for power than hunger of people," the Prime Minister said.

"According to Niti Aayog report, 13.5 crore people have overcome poverty in the last five years in India. IMF writes in its working paper that India has nearly ended extreme poverty," the Prime Minister said.

"At a time when there are plenty of opportunities, the opposition brought the no-confidence motion," he said.

Our only goal should be development of country, says PM Modi

"We have given a scam-free government to the youth of India, we have given them courage and opportunity to fly high in open sky," he said.

PM Modi's dig at Congress for not allowing Adhir Ranjan to speak

"I don't know what was compulsion of Congress for sidelining Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, maybe call was made from Kolkata. Tallest leader in Opposition ranks not in list of speakers, it's Amit Shah's magnanimity that he promised time to Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury," the Prime Minister said.

"During this no-confidence motion, we saw something bizarre. The name of the Leader of Opposition was missing from the list of those who would speak during the no-trust motion," he said.

"Opposition couldn't prepare for debate on no-confidence motion despite so much time in hand, even its sympathisers are disappointed. This period of 21st century is an opportunity to make every dream come true for India. Country watching you, but every time you have disappointed it," PM Modi said while hitting out at the Opposition.

'Opposition has 'secret power'...': PM Modi

Opposition has 'secret power', anyone for whom it wishes ill is blessed instead, the Prime Minister said.

"They ruined HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited). They tried to incite the workers and spread negativity. But now HAL is flourishing. It has recorded its highest ever revenue. HAL has now become the pride of country," PM Modi said.

"I convert abuses, unparliamentary language hurled at me by opposition into tonic," PM Modi said in reply to No-Confidence Motion debate.

"Opposition has 'ostrich-like approach', I thank its leaders for wearing black in House as I see that as 'kaala teeka'" he said.

PM Modi said that poverty going down in India, cites NITI Aayog and IMF data to state that country has almost got rid of extreme poverty.

"As per UNICEF, 'Swachh Bharat' helps poor people save up to Rs 50,000 every year," the Prime Minister said.

"Some trying to tarnish our image on global stage, but world knows the truth and won't be misled," he said.

"We gave a scam-free govt to youth, gave them opportunity to fly high; we also restored pride of country and took it to new heights," Prime Minister Modi said.

"WHO analysed Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and stated that it helped save lives of three lakh people," Modi said.

"In 2014, a full majority govt came after three decades and we got a bigger mandate in 2019 because of our track record," PM Modi said in Lok Sabha.

People have declared No-Confidence in Congress for years, says PM Modi

People of Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, UP, Gujarat, Bihar, Tripura, Odisha have been declaring no-confidence in Congress for years, PM Modi said while replying to No-Confidence Motion debate in Lok Sabha.

"Congress is so blinded by arrogance that it cannot see ground reality, people have deep no-confidence in it," he said.

"The country was on the verge of becoming bankrupt in 1991. After 2014, India made it to the top five economies of the world. Reform, perform and transform have led the country to this place," the Prime Minister said.

"Congress takes pride in amplifying false propaganda of any global survey tarnishing India's image."

India will be third largest economy when Oppn brings No-Confidence Motion in 2028, says PM Modi

When the opposition will bring a no-confidence motion again in 2028, the country would have become third largest economy in the world, the Prime Minister said.

"Congress, its friends used to trust Pakistan when it disowned acts of attacking our borders, sending terrorists into our territory," he said.

"Congress and its friends have a history of doubting India's capabilities and prowess," the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister said, "when you'll bring no-confidence motion in 2028, country will be among top three economies globally, this is our belief."

Mantra of 'reform, perform and transform' as well as proper planning and hardwork have taken country to new heights, Modi said.

The Opposition should ask how I'll make our economy third largest in world, if Congress thinks this will happen on its own then it has no vision, PM Modi takes a dig at the grand old party when it said that the country was anyhow going to be the third largest economy.

"It has been a fact that Congress has never trusted the abilities of our country," Modi said.

PM Modi's tip for people in stock market

Speaking in Lok Sabha during the No-Confidence Motion debate, PM Modi said, "My tip to those interested in stock market - invest in govt companies and your money will grow."

"Few days back, I had said that India will become world's third largest economy in our government's third term. A responsible opposition would have asked our plan for it, or would have given us some suggestions. However, they say that this would eventually happen without any efforts," he said.

Opposition said bad things about government aerospace firm HAL but today it is touching new heights of success.

"The opposition has used as many abuses as it could. But it's good for them, doing so would have made them feel better," Modi said.

"They ruined HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited). They tried to incite the workers and spread negativity. But now HAL is flourishing. It has recorded its highest ever revenue. HAL has now become the pride of country," the Prime Minister said.

"I convert abuses, unparliamentary language hurled at me by opposition into tonic," PM Modi said.

Constitution framers criticised dynastic politics, says PM Modi

Our Constitution framers had criticised dynastic politics because it is harmful for common people's rights, the Prime Minister said.

"Whenever circumstances will change, knives will be out in opposition alliance. This is not I.N.D.I.A but 'Ghamandia' alliance, everyone there wants to be 'groom', be PM," Modi's dig at Opposition bloc.

"It has taken Congress several decades to register victory in several parts of the country. In Tamil Nadu, Congress last formed government in 1961. For the last 62 years, people of Tamil Nadu have been saying - 'Congress, no-confidence'," PM Modi said.

"Congress adopted flag similar to national tricolour to add credibility, they also 'stole' Gandhi surname for gains. Nothing is Congress' own, from its poll symbol to ideas, everything has been borrowed from someone else," PM Modi said.

"Congress party and friends have a history that they never trusted India and its abilities. There was a time when Pakistan used to attack our borders, and indulge in terror activities inside the country and would then deny involvement. They trusted Pakistan," said PM Modi.

"Opposition thinks it can increase its credibility by using INDIA name for alliance. They needed 'NDA' to stay alive, they just added two 'I's to it due to their arrogance," PM Modi said.

"They don't trust India's capability and its people. But I want to tell that the feeling of no-confidence against Congress is very deep in the people," the Prime Minister said.

"You're trying to pass off old vehicle as electric one just by applying new paint," he said.

"I express sympathies with my opposition friends; they performed last rites of UPA in Bengaluru," the Prime Minister said.

"Opposition has betrayed the people of India. They have proved that their organisation is more important for them than the country," PM Modi said.

PM Modi on Manipur

Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured the Lower House that there will be peace again in Manipur.

"I want to assure people of Manipur that the state will soon be back on the path of development and we will leave no stones unturned for this. Whatever was said about 'Maa Bharti' in this House has hurt the sentiments of people of the country. Some people talked about the death of 'Maa Bharti', what can be more unfortunate than this."

"We had asked them (opposition) to come for a discussion on Manipur. The Home Minister had written a letter, asking them to hold a discussion on Manipur. But they didn't have the courage and intention. There was an intention to send a message of peace to the people of Manipur in Amit Shah's message (Lok Sabha speech)," PM Modi said.

"Efforts are underway by Centre, state government to punish the accused in Manipur. I want to assure the people of the country that there will be peace in Manipur in the near future," the Prime Minister said.

PM Modi calls Opposition's bloc as 'Ghamandiya' alliance

The Prime Minister said that "Ghamandiya alliance (I.N.D.I.A bloc) is a guarantee for policy paralysis, 'parivarvaad', instability, corruption, appeasement and taking India backward by two centuries.

"Yesterday, someone talked doing 'dil se baat'. Their 'Modi prem' is such that they see Modi even in their dreams. I can understand Congress' problem, they have been launching a failed product repeatedly. The launch fails every time," he said.

"This 'Ghamandiya' alliance promotes dynastic politics, which our great freedom fighters, including Mahatma Gandhi, BR Ambedkar, had always opposed. Congress loves 'parivarvaad' and 'darbarvaad'," says PM Modi in Lok Sabha.

"Those who have not kept their feet on the ground and haven't seen poverty are now finding everything unusual here and are opening new shops everyday," says PM Modi in Lok Sabha.

"This is not INDIA alliance, this is 'ghamandiya' alliance and everyone wants to become the broom in its procession. Everyone wants to become the prime minister," the Prime Minister said.

"To hide their drawbacks, they (Congress) even stole the election symbol and ideology. However, even after the changes, all that is visible is party's arrogance. It also shows how they have been living in a denial mode since 2014," PM Modi said in Lok Sabha.

"Kashmir was burning due to terrorism. Congress didn't trust people of Kashmir, but they trusted Hurriyat, separatists and those who used to carry Pakistan's flag. India conducted surgical strike on terror, they didn't trust the Indian Army," PM Modi said.

"Cong likes 'parivarvaad', 'darbarvaad'; darbar system snatched rights of stalwarts like BR Ambedkar, Jagjivan Ram, Chandra Shekhar," the Prime Minister further attacked the grand-old party.

"They (opposition) can change their label from outside but what about their old sins that will lead to downfall," said PM Modi in Lok Sabha.

"When your (opposition) alliance has such people who deny the existence of their own country, then you must introspect how far you will go," he said.
