It wasn’t long time back when pictures of Ranbir Kapoor and Mahira Khan chilling out went viral on internet. The actress was even trolled for wearing a backless dress and smoking with a male friend. Ever since then, the reports of Raees actress dating the heartthrob of Bollywood started doing rounds on the internet. After Ranbir Kapoor’s breakup with Katrina Kaif, it was rumoured that the actor found love in Pakistani actress Mahira Khan.
Recently in an interview, Mahira Khan was asked if she found love in Ranbir Kapoor. She retorted, “No, actually. No, I have been, I was. Now, I realise that love is peace. Love is when you are with somebody and it’s okay and you don’t have to talk. Their presence is important.”
She further added, “Through the times of turbulence, through the joys, through the ups and downs, through the mistakes we make and all the success we get, let nobody… nobody’s opinion define who you are. And if anybody defines who you are, let it be yourself. Including me and all the women out there, we’re all worth it!”
Her statements have stirred up many more questions now. We’re not sure if her statement about being in love before and not now is hinted towards Ranbir Kapoor or not. Fans are also wondering if Ranbir Kapoor and Mahira Khan parted ways or have they never dated at first place?
Earlier, Ranbir Kapoor spoke up in support of Mahira Khan who was being trolled and judged on social media for her viral pictures. He said, “I've gotten to know Mahira in a personal capacity over the last few months. She is somebody who I admire and respect, for her achievements and even more for the person she is. It is very unfair the way she is being judged and spoken about. What is also said is the inequality in judgment just because she is a woman. I request you to stop the negativity and move on with your beautiful god gifted lives. Peace and Love. PS: Both smoking and hate are injurious to health.”
On work front, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are busy shooting for Ayan Mukherji’s upcoming Brahmastra. The filming of Brahmastra commences in February 2018.
