No doubt about the fact that Raazi is a valuable contribution to Indian Cinema in every way. The way it is directed, cinematized, created and acted upon by its amazing cast, makes it stand out in a way no other film ever has. Alia Bhatt, the lead actress of this film, portrayed Sehmat Khan, an Indian spy in the best way possible, and took the audience through the journey of her life wonderfully.

And now, Alia Bhatt has another feather in her cap. Raazi is officially her highest grossing film so far. The Junglee Pictures and Dharma Productions’ film collected Rs 0.80 crore on Wednesday by taking its grand total collection to Rs 117.34 crore.

It's no news that Raazi star, Alia Bhatt has delivered commendable performances in the past as well. Be it Highway, 2 States, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya, or the film that gave her the Filmfare Award for Best Actress, Udta Punjab. Alia has never failed to leave a mark and totally woo the audience with her incredible performances.

Raazi totally changed the face of patriotic films. Raazi is the story of an Indian Spy, Sehmat Khan who was married to a Pakistani officer in 1971. It shows the struggles of a young Indian girl in a Pakistani family trying to pass on important information to India, and she is caught up in her relationships and her love for the country.

Alia Bhatt, the entire cast and filmmakers themselves didn’t expect the film to go so well. After the release, Director Meghna Gulzar posted this picture on Instagram.

Actress Alia Bhatt also showed her gratitude towards the appreciation of the film. She posted this on Instagram, a week after its release.

Alia Bhatt’s Raazi is not even a month old, and she is already engaged in other big projects, like Brahmastra and Kalank.

The preps for Brahmastra have already started. Alia Bhatt posted a picture of the prep session on Instagram sometime back.

In Brahmastra she will be seen alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor, and it will be directed by filmmaker Ayaan Mukherjee.
