1) Teacher killed his student

Kathmandu: A 43-year-old man, who had been working in Nepal as a teacher was sentenced to 39 years behind bars for the gruesome murder of his student in 2009, after which he cut up her body into pieces and dispersed them in several districts to escape detection.

 2) Man allegedly beats wife to death with a baseball bat

Delhi: A 25-year-old woman was allegedly beaten to death by her husband with a baseball bat after an argument ensued between them over the latter's drinking habit.

The incident took place in east Delhi's Mayur Vihar area when the accused identified as Vinod Kumar (30) returned to the couple's rented accommodation in an inebriated state.
