Muzaffarnagar (UP): A case was lodged against two persons after six months for allegedly gangraping a woman, police said today.

Following a local court's direction, a case has been registered yesterday against two persons, including the landlord of the victim, for allegedly raping her at Ramda village under Kairana police station in Shamli district, they said.

The FIR lodged by the victim's husband states that she was gangraped by two people including land lord Jaswant Singh when she was sleeping alone in her cottage on June 20, 2014.

The victim approached the court when police refused to register an FIR in this connection, the woman's husband said in his complaint.
