State Home Minister Anil Vij on Monday said in Chandigarh "every person has the equal right to meet the convict and the law can't stop anyone from meeting that person".
"He withdrew his parole application on Monday," a senior official of Haryana Prisons Department said, refusing to divulge further details.

Chhatrapati was shot at in October 2002 after his newspaper, 'Poora Sach', published an anonymous letter narrating how women were being sexually exploited by Gurmeet Ram Rahim at the Dera headquarters in Sirsa.
In a statement put out on social media, Akshay denied "rumours and false statements" about his involvement with Ram Rahim Singh.
A loyal and old gunman of Ram Rahim, he was admitted in a Dera Sacha Sauda hospital.
Honeypreet is currently serving jail term in Ambala after being charged of planning and inciting the violence in Panchkula and other neighbouring states in August last year following Ram Rahim's conviction.
Honeypreet, in her bail petition, said that she has spent 245 days behind bars without committing any crime.
According to reports, Naseeb Kaur, travels to Sirsa from Ram Rahim's ancestral house in a village in Rajasthan's Ganganagar district at least once a week to meet the devotees. Naseeb Kaur is mostly seen at the Sirsa headquarters on Sundays meeting the followers.
The Dera Sacha Sauda chief was convicted in a rape case by a special CBI court on August 25 last year, following which widespread violence erupted in Panchkula.
Apart from Honeypreet, the Charge sheet names Aditya Insan, Pawan Insan, Surendra Dheeman, Dilawar Insan, Dan Singh, Chamkaur Singh and Mahendra Insan among other accused.
Honeypreet, who claims to be an adopted daughter of the Dera chief, and eleven others have been charged with sedition, criminal conspiracy, besides other offences under the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
