Written and helmed by debutant director Lakshya Raj Anand, the film stars John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet Singh.

Satyameva Jayate 2: Directed by Milap Zaveri, the upcoming movie features John Abraham (in double role), Manoj Bajpayee, Divya Khosla Kumar, and Amyra Dastur. The action drama will be bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and Nikkhil Advani. It will hit the theatres on November 26 this year.

Shakti said Abraham will take on the role that was played by Menon, while Kapoor will portray Sukumaran's character from the original. "My next film is with John and Arjun. It is a remake of ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’. John will be playing the role of Ayyappan, while Arjun will play Prithviraj’s part. We are presenting both the actors in new avatars,” Shakti told PTI.

In April, the makers of 'Satyameva Jayate 2' had announced that the release of the film will be postponed due to COVID concerns. The movie was earlier slated to lock horns with 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai' on May 13.
