Glenn Maxwell raised the issue with the Cricket Australia support staff and has been offered full support of the Australian team.

Maxwell's scintillating 113 off 55 balls overshadowed Kohli's 38-ball 72 which helped India post a competitive 190/4 in 20 overs, winning their maiden T20I series in India.

Kohli also hinted that he would continue to experiment with his playing XI keeping in mind the upcoming ICC World Cup.
