India TV Opinion Poll: The Congress party is likely to retain power in Chhattisgarh while a change is expected in Rajasthan in the upcoming Assembly elections, predicts India TV-CNX opinion poll. Polling in Rajasthan will take place on November 25 while Chhattisgarh will vote in two phases on November 7 and 17. Ahead of the elections, India TV-CNX conducted an opinion poll to gauge the mood of the voters and predict which party may have an edge in the forthcoming polls.
According to India TV-CNX opinion poll, the BJP may dethrone the Congress party in the upcoming Assembly election in Rajasthan. The saffron party is predicted to comfortably cross the halfway mark and secure 115 seats out of 200. The Congress may win 80 seats while others may get around 5 assembly seats.
In terms of vote share, the BJP may secure 45 per cent of votes, Congress may get 42 per cent and others are likely to receive 3 per cent votes.
The BJP is expected to take a lead in Rajasthan's Mewar region also and may win 31 seats, while Congress may get 16 and others are likely to win only one seat.
Mewar region has a total of 48 Assembly seats.
According to India TV-CNX opinion poll, the BJP is likely to win 34 seats while Congress may get 20 and others are expected to bag two seats in the Marwar region of Rajasthan.
This region has a total of 56 Assembly seats.
According to India TV-CNX opinion poll, 31 per cent of the respondents said that both Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot are fighting unitedly, 32 per cent differ from this observation while 37 per cent didn't have any opinion.

According to India TV-CNX opinion Poll, in Chhattisgarh's North Sarguja region, the Congress is expected to win 10 seats while the BJP may get 4. Other parties or independents may not be able to open their accounts. The region has a total of 14 Assembly seats.
