Hiten Tejwani's eviction in the December 17 episode of Bigg Boss 11 shocked many. Not only his fans were disappointed, even the host Salman Khan was sad on his ouster. In the last elimination round, Hiten and Priyank were pitted against each other and as Hiten is one of the tough contenders, housemates decided to chuck him out.
In a recent interview to indianexpress.com, Tejwani shared his experience about his stay inside the house and his elimination. He also opened up on his camaraderie with Arshi Khan and Vikas Gupta. ''Some of the housemates believe I could be a threat and so chucked me out. But I am surprised at their choice. There’s no fun playing with the weak, it would have been exciting if they decided to go with the strong one and fight it out till the end,” said Tejwani who is also sad as Shilpa voted against him. In one of the nominations, Tejwani chose to secure Shilpa but he projected that he has voted for Arshi. Opening up on this he said, ''I never intended to hurt Arshi nor was I playing a sly game. Since Shilpa and Arshi were at loggerheads, I only wanted to maintain peace. But ironically yes, it was Shilpa who voted against me.''
When he was asked about his bond with Arshi Khan, the 43-year-old actor said that she is intelligent and never crossed her boundaries. ''She is a very funny girl and very intelligent. We had a fun camaraderie and she never crossed her boundaries. Once you work together, you tend to form bonds, I don’t know how it would be after the show. But being in the same industry, I am sure we will keep bumping into each other at parties and events,'' he said.
Tejwani also said that he has become a calmer person now and he is hardly affected by anything. He also emphasised that his stint in the reality show taught him lot of household chores which he would have never learnt.
