Have become Shah Rukh Khan because of Salman’s father Salim Khan, says SRK
The king of romance - Shah Rukh Khan has been spreading love and joy among millions of his fans across the globe has also clocked 25 years in the industry. With every passing day, the actor has only tried to better himself. Shah Rukh has taken risks at various points in his career, risks which he knew, may not pay off well for him, but still he took the chance anyway. The actor not only inspires us all with his work on screen but also through his words. But do you know who made SRK Shah Rukh Khan?
At the grand finale of Salman Khan-hosted game show Dus Ka Dum 3, Shah Rukh Khan said that he owed his success and fame to Salman's father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan.
The 52-year-old actor, Shah Rukh said in a statement: "The first time I came to Mumbai as a struggling actor, I had my meals at Salman's place where Salim Khanji supported me a lot. It is because of them I have become ‘Shah Rukh Khan'. I have come on the show only because of Salman and I will go wherever he tells me to go."
Shah Rukh participated in the show with actress Rani Mukerji. They relived memories of their film "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" with Salman, who had done a cameo role in the film.
The "Raees" star will next be seen in Aanand L Rai's "Zero", alongside Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. Salman is currently shooting for film "Bharat".
In Zero teaser, Salman Khan is seen dancing with SRK. It begins with a voice over from Javed Jaffery at a dance competition. A nervous, dwarf Shah Rukh approaches the stage, followed by Salman Khan in what we assume will be a guest appearance. Salman makes him feel comfortable and the two dances together as the crowd around him breaks into an applause.
