Wroclaw (Poland), July 18: Sachika Ingale, Harshit Kaur Jawanda and Lakshya Ragavendran advanced to the third round of the girls singles in the World Junior Squash Championships here that saw the end of the Indian challenge in the boys' section.

Ingale made short work of Grace McErvale from Australia 3-0 Wednesday and Jawanda used her speed and aggressive play to beat Karolina Holinkova of Czech Republic by a similar margin. Ragavendran played well to control the youthful exuberance of the dangerous floater Sivasangari Subramaniam from Malaysia for a 3-1 result.

Tanvi Khanna was the only Indian girl to lose on the day, after being outplayed by higher-ranked Vanessa Raj of Malaysia 3-0.
