Uttar Pradesh government's cabinet expansion was held today as seven new ministers take the oath of office, and get inducted into Yogi Adityanath's cabinet. The oath-taking ceremony took place at Raj Bhawan, Lucknow.
The oath-taking ceremony will take place at Raj Bhawan in Lucknow at 05:30 PM today, as per sources.
The Uttar Pradesh government's cabinet expansion will take place today, as seven new ministers will take an oath, and get inducted into Yogi Adityanath's cabinet. The information comes in amid rumours regarding cabinet ministers in the state, that were doing rounds for a while now.
Ahead of the oath-taking ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra on Wednesday chaired a meeting at 7 Lok Manya Tilak in New Delhi with the leaders who are likely to be inducted.
Union Cabinet reshuffle/expansion will be taking place on July 7 at 6 pm. This will be the first cabinet reshuffle in the second term of the Narendra Modi government.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to rejig his council of ministers on July 8 at 10.30 am. In the run-up to the resuffle, several important developments have emerged.
Amid reports of his uncle Pashupati Nath Paras getting an invite to join Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Union Cabinet later in the week, Chirag Paswan said Paras could not be appointed a minister from the LJP quota since he is no longer a part of the party.
