Madness unfolded at the Sabina Park in Jamaica on the third day of the third and final Test between Australia and West Indies. Mitchell Starc wreaked havoc to pick up six wickets for just nine runs and Scott Boland picked up a hattrick to fold the West Indies for the second lowest Test score ever.
Rishabh Pant got injured during Day 2 of the India vs England 3rd Test at Lord's while doing wicketkeeping in the first innings. Pant didn't take the field later as Dhruv Jurel donned the gloves behind the stumps. However, Pant batted in the second innings.
Shoaib Bashir had picked up a blow to his little finger on the left hand while trying to take a catch off his own bowling after Ravindra Jadeja had hit a fierce drive straight back to the bowler. Bashir, who picked the wicket of Mohammed Siraj, has been ruled out for the remainder of the series.
Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah put up a brilliant fight alongside Ravindra Jadeja as India looked to secure a famous win. However, with 23 more needed to win, Siraj was bowled after a ball rolled back to his stumps following his defence.
The third Test of the five-match series between England and India concluded today at Lord's. England defeated India by 22 runs as they defended 192 runs in the fourth innings successfully and have now taken a 2-1 lead in the series. Here's the WTC points table update:
