Defence Minister also welcomed FM Nirmala Sitharaman's announcement that 68 pc of the defence capital procurement budget would be allocated towards procurement from domestic industry.

Assembly elections will be held in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur, Goa and Punjab between February 10 and March 7. Results will be announced on March 10.

Earlier, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also tweeted to notify that he has tested positive for the infection. Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai has also tested positive. All the leaders are in home isolation.
