Shruti Hassan, Vidyut Jammwal begin shooting for Mahesh Manjrekar’s film
Shruti Hassan and Vidyut Jammwal have started the shoot of their next yet-to-be-titled project on Friday. They have collaborated for Mahesh Majrekar’s next and started shooting for the same. The news was broken out by film trade analyst Taran Adarsh via Twitter. Sharing the news, he wrote, “Vidyut Jammwal and Shruti Haasan... Director Mahesh Manjrekar commences filming his new movie [gangster drama] in Mumbai today [20 April]...Produced by Vijay Galani and Pratik Galani".
The duo - 'Commando' actor and 'Welcome Back' actress - will be seen for the first time. After this, they will work together in their yet-to-release film Yaara. Yaara is expected to go on floors later this year. The gangster drama is helmed by actor-director Mahesh Majrekar of 'Pitaah' fame.
Vidyut Jammwal was last seen in Commando 2, in which he floored his fans with his awe-inspiring stunts. Shruti has last worked in Behen Hogi Teri opposite Omerta actor Rajkummar Rao.
On the other hand, Mahesh Majrekar is successfully hosting Bigg Boss Marathi. The actor-director is critically-acclaimed for movies like Vaastav, Astitva and Viruddh: Family Comes First.
