New Delhi, Aug 2: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has reportedly agreed to launch the promotional campaign of a movie based on the life of Swami Vivekananda. He will also sit for the screening of the film on August 6.
The movie has been directed by Kolkata based Utpal Sinha. This is going to be his debut movie and he has tried to portray the journey of a young Narendra Nath Dutta who went on to become a world renowned personality.
Narendra Modi has often said that Swami Vivekananda's ideology has influenced him since his childhood. Modi has also been associated with ramkrishna Mission in many ways. Therefore, the director Utpal Sinha's selection of Modi for promotional campaign of his film comes as no surprise.
“Vivekananda's influence in Modi's life can be clearly seen through his communications. He has also invited his entire team to see the film. We couldn't have asked for a better start,” said Sinha while explaining his choice of Modi for launching the promotional campaign of his film.
